I am now taking applications for studio memberships. There is a one month trial period for anyone who is new to my studio. We practice kindness, courtesy and safety at all times in this space. Please read the requirements below before applying. Please do not drop by unannounced. Once your application is received I will email to set up a time to show you the studio space.
BENEFITS: Access from 9am-10pm 7 days a week to the members studio. At least one bisque and one glaze firing each month. Access to over a dozen studio cone 6 glazes. One shelf space plus community shelf shared space. $205/month. $190/month w a 3 month commitment. The only additional cost is clay at $24-35 a bag based on which type of clay you choose. No outside clay is permitted.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: It is the duty of studio members to help keep the space clean and safe. This includes light mopping and cleaning all community tools and work spaces. My staff will shop vac the studio as needed for safe working conditions.
REQUIREMENTS: You must apply below and show a minimum of one year experience working in clay. Please email ginadesantisceramics@gmail.com 5-8 images of your artwork as well. This is not for novice clay artists. Members must be courteous to fellow members and understand no instruction is provided nor is this meant to be a production studio for individuals. You must understand how a community clay studio functions.
Adults only. 18 and older.
Members rent is due on the 5th of each month.
Members must clean up after themselves. This includes not only cleaning the wheels, tables, sink and tools but the floor (including mopping and clearing any clay boxes)
Clay must be purchased through Gina DeSantis Ceramics, LLC.
No instruction is provided. This is for artists and hobbyists who have experience working in a community space.
